RVN, Sarah L’Aiguille

Sarah brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for animal care to The Vet Connection, joining our team at the beginning of 2024 after graduating from Applied Vocational Training in 2023. From a young age, Sarah dreamt of becoming a veterinary nurse, drawn to the variety of the role and the opportunity to provide comfort and care to all the patients that come through the clinic doors. Sarah’s journey in animal care began early, working in a local pet shop since high school and mastering the art of caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, fish, and even axolotls. Her dedication to animal welfare extended further as she volunteered at WA wildlife for two years, nurturing native animals and preparing them for release back into their natural habitat. At home, Sarah’s love for animals shines through, with two golden retrievers, a sleek black cat, three rabbits, and two cockatiels filling her life with joy and companionship. When she’s not tending to her furry and feathered friends, Sarah enjoys reading, sewing, or immersing herself in the water. Sarah finds solace and tranquility in nature, especially when camping off-grid in the bush, relishing the serenity of the outdoors. A fun fact about Sarah: she was a competitive artistic swimmer, formerly known as synchronized swimming, and competed in numerous national championships with her team. With her diverse skill set, unwavering dedication, and love for animals, Sarah is an invaluable member of The Vet Connection team, ensuring that every patient receives the utmost care and attention.
