Dr. Sam’s journey in veterinary medicine is one marked by dedication, passion, and a love for animals that spans continents. Graduating overseas in 2008, Dr. Sam made Australia his permanent home in 2011, where he has since made a significant impact in the veterinary industry. In 2022, Dr. Sam achieved a milestone in his career by becoming the Owner/Principal Veterinarian at Vet Connection East Fremantle, where he continues to provide exemplary care to his patients. A fascinating facet of Dr. Sam’s life is his background as a mathematical Olympiad during his school days, where many assumed he would pursue a career in engineering. However, Dr. Sam’s genuine passion for animal welfare and his love for medicine led him down a different path, one that he has embraced wholeheartedly as a dedicated veterinarian. Outside of work, Dr. Sam finds joy and fulfillment in family life, cherishing precious moments with his two sons and two adorable fur babies named Charlotte and Ruby. With his unwavering commitment to animal welfare, coupled with his diverse skills and experiences, Dr. Sam embodies the essence of compassionate care and excellence in veterinary medicine.

Practice Administrator, Vet Nurse Trainee, Madi Bell

Practice Administrator

Meet Madi, one of the newest additions to our team at The Vet Connection, serving as the Practice Administrator and aspiring to be Dr. Sam’s trusted right-hand person. With a background rooted in her love for animals, Madi’s journey has taken her from studying at Murdoch University with hopes of becoming a veterinarian to her current pursuit of obtaining her Cert IV in vet nursing. Despite a change in plans, Madi’s passion for the animal industry has only deepened. After taking time off from university to travel and gain more experience in the field, she found her way to The Vet Connection. A transformative experience as a vet intern in South Africa solidified her dedication to working in animal care, particularly igniting a newfound love for tigers. Having called Perth home for the past 3 years after relocating from Victoria, Madi is known around the clinic for her multitasking abilities and warm demeanor. While she may be juggling multiple tasks, she always makes time to shower your furry friends with cuddles and affection. With her unwavering dedication, diverse experience, and boundless love for animals, Madi is a valuable asset to The Vet Connection team, ensuring that both our clinic operations run smoothly and your pets receive the care and attention they deserve.

Our Feedback is Purring Along Nicely…

Jolien Strauss

“Only place I will take my very anxious and sulky greyhound doggo. Liam and team take their time and my dog is slowly getting better at attending the clinic and even getting her nails clipped. This would never have happened without their dedication and care. Always open and honest in their findings and what is required and what is not. Once I took my limping dog there only to find out she’d been faking it! They were quick to check her over and find nothing wrong, so no need for expensive treatment or investigations. Only vets I will trust with an honest opinion and a sulky dog.”
