Meet Poppy and Dhalia!
As written by new owners who adopted Poppy and Dhalia recently:
Poppy (10) & Dhalia (13) arrived to our home after their owner passed away and no one was able to care for them properly. Their breath was fairly horrendous and Dhalia’s coat shed an amazing amount of hair. I didn’t really know much about doggies and their dental needs – but I did know that bad breath was not a good sign! In searching for what to do next, I noticed that East Fremantle Vet took a particular interest in dental care for doggies.
We booked in for an initial consult with Dr Leah . She was said their teeth were in a serious condition, and that the dogs would be in a lot of pain.
The team at East Fremantle were so lovely and caring. They took the time to gently explain to my young daughters that everything would be ok.
That evening we decided to go ahead with the procedure, knowing the difference that it would make to the lives of Poppy and Dhalia.
When I went to pick up the doggies, the team showed me a photo of Poppy’s teeth. What I thought was just ‘all that bit of bad breath’ amounted to green teeth so caked in plaque that the teeth could not be made out.
The doggies have recovered so well and although they do not have many teeth left – they are now enjoying every mouthful of their food.
They greet us with smiles and happy wagging tails in the mornings. They curl up by our side at night time to watch tv.
The bad breath vanished instantly – and the recommended medicated bath wash for Dhalia has done wonders to minimise her shedding
We now have a pair of sweet smelling, beautiful little friends in our family.
We are so pleased with how Poppy and Dhalia recovered from their dental procedures as well as their overall general health. They have superstar owners who genuinley care for their pets. It is wonderful to see the improved quality of life that Poppy and Dhalia now have. We can’t wait to see Poppy and Dhalia in the future. East Freo Vet Team
