Which pets have left paw prints on your heart?
“I grew up on a farm and was always surrounded by pets of all sizes. I hand raised a baby goat that’s mother had abandoned it. The goat quickly made its way into everyone’s hearts and became a part of the family. I also have a small fluffy dog called ‘Ruby’ who is 10 years old and has given me nothing but joy for the last 10 years with her quirky smile and personality.”
Why did you become a vet nurse and what do you enjoy most about your job?
“I love having the opportunity to help the pets have a voice when they need it most. I have always loved being around animals so a job where I get to help animals on a daily basis was my dream. I love I am constantly learning new things. Working with such an encouraging and supportive team is amazing”
How do you relax when you’re not at work?
“I love photography so I can often be found at sunrise or sunset with my partner on an adventure to capture that perfect golden hour shot. In addition, I keep active at the gym and love going to the beach.”
Share something weird or wonderful about yourself.
“I grew up on a farm in Zimbabwe (an absolutely stunning country) where I got to see some incredible wildlife. I moved to the UK for 3 years before moving to Perth in 2019 to become a Vet Nurse.”
