Which pets have left paw prints on your heart?

I grew up in a house filled with fantastic creatures including rabbits, sheep, hamsters, dogs and even for a brief period, a little snake. Each of them brought me so much joy that it is hard to pick a favourite. Since moving to Australia I have lived with a galah with a huge personality who keeps me on my toes, and of course my little Hopi dog never fails to bring a smile to my face!

Why did you become a Veterinarian and what do you enjoy most about your job?

I became a vet because from the youngest age I can remember animals have been my best friends. Nothing could mean more to me than working to help them feel their very best.

The greatest part of my job is meeting new people each day and being able to help them to help their pets be well, comfortable and happy.

How do you relax when you’re not at work?

I love working in my garden growing food for my family and friends and spending time with my husband and daughter.
