Why did you become a vet and what do you enjoy most about your job?
I’ve always had a fascination and passion for animals, so learning how to look after them and fix them when they are ill was a natural progression for me.
It’s extremely satisfying to know you’ve assisted in returning a pet to full health and being part of their journey to recovery is something that I find very fulfilling.
I also love the variety of care we get to provide in general practice – in what other job do you get to be a dermatologist, radiologist, anaesthetist, general surgeon, dentist, ophthalmologist (the list goes on!)… all in one day?
How do you relax when you’re not at work?
I love to spend time at the beach, exploring the walking trails that our amazing state has to offer and catching up with friends and family over a cup of coffee.
