Which pets have left paw prints on your heart?
We LOVE big dogs in my family. Moses our Irish Wolfhound x Italian Mastiff was 68kgs of cuddles, and certainly thought he was a lap dog every day of his life! Even though Mo looked like a giant black panther, he could charm anyone within moments of meeting them; he was loved by the whole neighbourhood (especially when he used to break out and take himself on walkies!)
Which area of your work do you find most interesting?
It’s tough to pick one! The science part of me loves learning new things about medicine, and I have always been interested in surgery and the incredible things we can do for our pets; But the people part of me (which I must admit is nearly taking over) really enjoys seeing the bond between each owner and their pet, and how each one can be so unique!
How do you relax when you’re not at work?
I love anything ocean! Diving, wakeboarding, surfing; If there’s salt and sand I’m in. I also really enjoy long distance running and yoga.
